8.4 Language of materials

As of October 2022, at the fonds and series level, enter the language of the records (do not leave blank), including English-only materials. English is no longer the presumed default.

• Conditions Governing Access and Use area > Language of material > select from dropdown list

Enter any further pertinent information in the Language and script notes field.

EXAMPLE

Letters found in B2012-0032/004 are predominantly in German. Other records are in English.
